Take a wide loop up to West Nyack thru Old Tappan. You can find several choices for lunch, including pizza and deli options, but a club favorite is Lulu's Cafe where you can stuff yourself on their weekend brunch. But don't forget Cycle Club Rule #1: There's always a hill after lunch! However, once you're past those hills, you get a sweet gradual nearly 3-mile descent on the Joseph B. Clark Railtrail. (Just before getting on the trail, you can make a right on Western Hwy for a quick stop at Louie's Ice Cream...if you still have room after lunch.) After the rail trail you'll come south on 9W back to the bridge. There's a pit stop at Allison Park with great views over the Hudson River.
